'Everything about us' with National Youth Choir of Wales

Everything about us is a new work commissioned by National Youth Choir of Wales, a choral installation-piece based around the specially written text by Rufus Mufasa exploring ideas of ‘coming together’. Written for the return to the concert stage for the choir after three years, this work explores our connection to individual to collective expression, and allows the performers to move through the space, fill space, and unite. This work will be taken on the choir’s 2022 summer tour, beginning on 1 September 2022 at Prichard-Jones Hall at Bangor University, conducted by Tim Rhys-Evans MBE.

Nathan is a alumni of the National Youth Choir of Wales, having sung with them between 2007-2010, under conductors Ralph Allwood, Ben Parry, David Lawrence, Julian Wilkins, and Nicholas McCreesh as part of the 2007 BBC Proms appearance in Handel’s Messiah. In recent years, Nathan has also been invited as Guest Conductor for the choir.
