Nathan announced as Composer-in-Residence with Whiddon Autumn Festival 2023

Nathan has been announced as the Composer-in-Residence with Whiddon Autumn Festival 2023, one of Devon’s freshest and most exciting cultural events.

Set in and around the picturesque Whiddon Parishes of northern Dartmoor, the annual Whiddon Autumn Festival sees an exciting range of musical happenings, including choral performances, chamber music, solo song, education work and community participation events, with a dazzling line-up of young artists, all curated by local-born Artistic Director Freddie Crowley.

As well as composing three new works to be premiered at WAF 2023, Nathan will host a “Meet the Composer” session during the Festival and run a creative workshop with the festival’s Come & Sing choir.

The festival are also offering an exciting opportunity for anyone in the WAF area interested in music creation, through the new ‘Contact the Composer’ project. Whether you’d like general advice on music creation, guidance on a specific piece of music you’re working on, or any other questions you’d like to ask a professional composer, you can get in touch with Nathan directly through the festival.
