Nathan appointed Chair of The Ivors Academy Wales Council

Nathan has recently accepted the role of Chair for the newly-formed Wales Council, as part of The Ivors Council.

The Wales Council is a cross genre body drawn from across the Ivors Academy membership. Nathan will chair the inaugural board and help develop a nationwide strategy for the Wales Council.

The aim of the Council is to bring together a strong, representative and diverse community of professional music creators living and working in Wales. The Council engages with and influence strategic thinking on industry practices; to develop opportunities for professional connections and networking and to level the playing field for music creators living in Wales. We are keen to encourage membership of the Ivors Academy among Welsh music creators; to bring more awareness of our vibrant Welsh music scene to the wider Ivors Academy community and to engage with and support the work of organisations in Wales with similar aims.
