What a member of the RSM is?
As a Member you will become an ambassador for the Society by referring colleagues in need, and helping us to grow membership amongst your network, joining some of the greatest names in music, including Dame Evelyn Glennie and George Frideric Handel. In doing so, you will be helping people like Becky, read her story and others here. You will also be able to join our regular Member catch ups, online Social Network gatherings, Healthy Practice webinars, annual concert and more.
The vision of the RSM
Musicians supporting musicians – that simple statement encapsulates what RSM is and what we have always been, musicians supporting their fellow musicians. Since 1738, that has been our aim and our current Strategic Plan continues this legacy and drives RSM forward into the future even better able to support the UK music sector.
Our mission is to provide vital financial support, advice and guidance to those within the music sector who are unable to work owing to physical or mental ill health and to nurture an organisation that can achieve this.
